LaTeX Math Notes Template

Theorem, lemma, proof, and example environments, prewired.

Free — no card, no trial.

What's inside

  • Theorem, lemma, corollary, and proposition environments sharing one counter
  • Definition, example, and remark styles that look distinct from theorems
  • Proof environment with proper QED placement
  • Section-based numbering (Theorem 2.1, Definition 2.2, …)
  • Hyperlinked cross-references between results
Document class: article
Packages: amsmath, amssymb, amsthm, geometry, hyperref

The difference between messy and beautiful lecture notes is usually the theorem setup, and it is exactly the part beginners copy-paste wrong. Here it is done once, correctly: theorem-like environments share a counter, definitions and remarks get their own visual style, and everything numbers by section so references stay stable as notes grow.

Take notes live during lectures or rewrite them after; either way, \ref links let you jump from a proof back to the lemma it uses.
